10-Minute Balsamic Summer Salad Recipe

BALSAMIC SUMMER SALAD


For this summer salad, the first step is to marinate some portobello mushrooms in Trader Joe’s organic Balsamic & Fig dressing for 6 minutes on med-low heat.


While that's cooking, you're going to toss together your favorite mixed greens. We’re using green leaf lettuce, red leaf lettuce, spinach, and arugula.


Next, add some chopped Roma tomatoes and cucumbers.


Finally, top the salad off with some balsamic vinaigrette and sunflower seeds, and you've got the freshest Friday meal.


Fun fact: the mixed greens, tomatoes, and cucumbers can all be grown hydroponically.
